Phoenix Academy

Learn, Rise, Together.

Learning Missions

Each session will include an overarching mission/themed project for the students to complete. These will cover a wide range of subjects and will be student-driven.

Critical Thinking

Your student will learn critical thinking skills through Socratic discussions, youth-led government, and student-driven group projects.

Adaptive Learning

Students will use adaptive programs for their core subjects allowing all students to progress at their own speed, and allow them to take accountability for their own education.

Grow their creative confidence.

Each session, we will begin a new mission. These will provide fun and creative opportunity for your child to embrace a new challenge, individually and with a team. Through hands-on learning, your child is more likely to remain engaged and to build upon their creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills beyond the classroom.

Students learn to work together.

Students will learn to work together and respect one another as they create a student-led government while learning to hold each other accountable and work through problems together.

“We see childhood as an important part of a human’s life and not as a race to adulthood. We believe and respect the fact that children have the right to a happy childhood.” —Linda Åkeson McGurk,
